Abstract
Controlling negative impacts of Economic Development Plan, which is
expected to be approved by the Islamic Consultative Assembly, on economic
security of the agriculture sector is an essential task. Insuring agricultural
products could serve as a positive mechanism for the realization of such a target.
However, executive problems on the way of implementation of insurance have
prevented realization of an efficient insurance system. Results of this study,
which was conducted on basis of experiences gained through implementation of
insurance of agricultural products in different countries and on the outcome of
the performance of insurance systems in some regions, show that regulation of
the executive plan for implementation of insurance of agricultural products is
essential in some cases. Therefore, innovations have been offered in
implementing insurance of agricultural products.
